We want local people of all ages and backgrounds to play a part in this exciting project and help us achieve our vision for a better Bootle. We appreciate any time you can offer us, whether it’s just the odd hour here and there or a regular weekly visit. We will provide all the support, training and materials you need to keep you and everyone else safe, and to do your voluntary work well.
Through volunteering you will
- learn new skills
- meet new people
- have a laugh
- maybe even make new friends
As a volunteer, depending on your interests, you might help out with:
- office work using computers and answering the phones
- physical work like clearing land, labouring, painting and decorating
- communications work like updating our social media pages
We are also able to offer a limited number of unpaid internships to local young people and unemployed people to help you gain valuable work experience. During your 4-6 week placement you will work with a range of teams and services to develop your understanding of charity management, project development, creative practice, urban growing, business development, marketing and communications.
We are also looking for SAFE Ambassadors who can spread the word about our plans among the wider community – if you like talking please come and talk to us!
